An SXD file is a vector graphics format associated with StarOffice and OpenOffice.org office suites. It is created by StarOffice Draw and saves vector elements such as points, lines, and curves. These files are used for storing technical illustrations. StarOffice is now known as Open Office and uses the same codebase as Apache OpenOffice. Both now use the OpenDocument standard and store vector graphics as ODG files.
