An SDD file is a type of presentation file created by StarImpress, a program included in the StarOffice suite. It contains a collection of slides, often with a title slide followed by supporting slides. SDD files were used by StarImpress until version 5, after which the program adopted the SXI format. Now, Open Office and Apache OpenOffice use ODP files for presentations.
